It’s a pity to use a stock from a shop, when you can easily prepare it at home. How?
Just put all the ingredients (meat, or bones, vegetables and various herbs) in the pot, sink cold water and boil on light fire for several hours (I recommend at least two), to develop an ultra-rich taste.
Because the vegetables are boiling for so long time and all their work has already taken away, after finishing cooking stock I throw it out.
I always use the largest pot to prepare a stock and I put most of it in the freezer. Therefore I don’t use any salt during cooking. I season it when I cook concrete meal from it.
