Pour over with almond liqueur and let marinate for at least 3-4 hours. If you want to, you can do this in the evening and marinate overnight (the liqueur taste will be stronger). :-)
Fill each of the plums with an almond. So, prepare as many almonds as you have marinated plums.
Meanwhile, melt the chocolate ina a water bath.
Dip the plums into melted chocolate and put into fridge to stiffen.
You may replace the almond inside the plums, for example, with marzipan, or another nut. Almond liqueur can be substituted with something stronger... How about dark Cuban rum? :-)
